RTC Innovation and Sino-Europe Innovation were the proud sponsors of the University of Oxford’s November 2015 meeting of the Oxford Innovation Society, which took place at the University’s Museum of Natural History.

The Society’s meeting focused on innovation and technology transfer between the UK and China, and was a forum for Oxford academics, members of OIS, and business, industry and government representatives working between the UK and China.

Speakers addressing the Society included Tom Hockaday (CEO, Isis Innovation), Professor Andrew Hamilton (Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford), and Dr David Baghurst (Head of Isis Innovation, Asia). Key speaker Dr Jian Cao, from RTC Innovation, presented RTC Innovation’s work in commercialising Oxford University technology via Chinese investors.

The OIS lectures were followed by a drinks reception and dinner for the 200 guests, where RTC Innovation was able to introduce a number of their Chinese investors to key Isis Innovation partners.

RTC Innovation continues to enjoy a strong working relationship with Oxford University and Isis Innovation, and looks forward to helping bring together further Chinese investment and UK technologies.
